 The
New 2007 Monza range
The Monza range represents one of the main Birel changes
for 2007. The two chassis for the 100 and 125 classes have been
completely renewed both technically and in terms of design, with the
idea of making them an alternative with a great quality-cost ratio
for top karting events. To achieve this goal, Birel’s technical
department has been working hard on the development of the 2007
chassis. But within the Monza range the changes are not limited to
the top versions. Mainly for the CIK categories: the range was
expanded to include two models for the very young, a basic chassis
for National categories and a specific solution for the Rotax DD2
Trophy. Basically a complete range was created which, in commercial
terms, will also entail a specific sales network and dedicated
promotional initiatives. The Monza range will be characterized by an
attractive look, both in terms of livery of the frames, which will
sport the blue and orange colors, and in the design of its single
accessories and components. To promote this range a new internet
site has also been launched:
www.monzaracingkart.com.
Changes
Up to last year the Monza range comprised of 2 models - one for the
100 class and one for the 125. Both had traditional chassis and were
mostly aimed at national markets. The changes for 2007 are mainly
strategic: the two top chassis (100 and 125) have been completely
renewed and will aim at making a niche for themselves in the CIK
classses, while maintaining a great quality-price ratio. The central
and front section of the bodywork have been radically changed by
applying geometries reminiscent of Birel’s «R» line. The result in
terms of performance is great adaptability to tires of various
compounds and the ability to maintain an excellent general balance
in all track conditions.
There is an immediate feeling with the new Monza, with a simple
standard trim the limit can be reach right away. At the same time,
thanks to a great responsiveness to adjustments, the set-up can be
easily customized according to the driver’s requirements.
The changes will also concern the expansion of
the range to include all market segments, from the junior classes
with the models Z B-28 and Z C-28, to the two models for National (Z
R-30) and Rotax (ZX 32-RX) classes. For this purpose, Birel’s
technical department has exploited the remarkable experience gained
in these specific sectors and has managed to propose effective
solutions with an excellent purchase price. |
